It's hard to resist calling Steve Breaston the "third nipple".
He made quite a name for himself at the University of Michigan as both a return specialist and a wide receiver. He concluded his college career as the all-time punt and kickoff returner for Michigan while also amassing the 5th most receptions in school history. His 4.41 40-yd dash speed is impressive, but in order to fully recognize his potential as a WR in the NFL, he'll need to work on his route-running and adjusting to the ball once it's in the air. He should take cues from Fitz on that, as no one is better at that than he is.

Breaston will start out the year again as the "third nipple" (see?). He gained 1,006 yards while snagging three TDs in '08, but he will need an injury to either Fitz or 'Quan to hit those fantasy numbers again. He averaged 69 (dude!) yards and .67 TDs in the four games Boldin missed in '08, but only 60 YPG and .1 TDs per game in games Boldin played. He'll still return punts though, and might even be used on kickoff returns as well. Breaston is one of the best WR handcuffs in the game - right up there with Chris Henry and Lance Moore. If you end up with either Boldin or Fitz, you should plan for this guy a little earlier than most would. Unfortunately, there will be those few teams in your league that whip out last year's stats and go too early on him. Our ranking is reflective of where a Boldin or Fitz owner should grab him.
He hasn’t missed a game in his two-year career. Draft at will.
