Huddle Up: Just three weeks ago San Diego signed Eddie Royal to a three-year, $13.5 million contract, including $6 million guaranteed. Royal and Parrish are the same diminutive slot guy with punt return skills. Puzzling.

Bills WR David Nelson has been the most added player in CBSSports.com Fantasy leagues after his breakout performance in Week 2 against the Raiders. He now heads into Week 3 against the Patriots looking for continued success, and he might get it with Roscoe Parrish now out for the season. The Buffalo Bills have an explosive offense suddenly, but their wide receiving corps is hurting. Roscoe Parrish is out for the season because of an ankle injury. Marcus Easley had to shut it down for the season because of a heart condition. No. 1 WR Steve Johnson said that it hurts to walk with his groin injury. So to help out, the Bills are going to put running back C.J. Spiller at wideout more often, according to ProFootballTalk.com. Spiller hasn't gotten a whole lot of playing time this season as Fred Jackson has performed exceptionally. Through two games, Spiller has just two catches for 11 yards. He has nine carries for 89 yards. FANTASY ANALYSIS: I don't expect Spiller to become this awesome volume passer in just a week or two. He'll be sprinkled in here and there, so his PPR value gets only a slight nudge up. His overall value is still limited because of Jackson's success. I think quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick benefits here a bit since Spiller has outstanding speed and can turn a little screen into a game-breaking play.

According to USA Today, Buffalo Bills wide receiver Roscoe Parrish is out for the year with an ankle injury and is now on injured reserve. Parrish joins Marcus Easley, another Bills wideout, on IR. Parrish went down in the second quarter of Buffalo's win over the Raiders on Sunday. After attempting to play through the pain, he collapsed near the sideline after one play. In his place, David Nelson is now the team's No. 3 receiver. FANTASY ANALYSIS: The Bills quietly have pretty good depth at wide receiver. Look at this way, they allowed Lee Evans to get away for a reason. Now with all these injuries piling up, it doesn't look so good, but the trio of Steve Johnson, Donald Jones and David Nelson are doing very well. Just look at what the Bills have done via the passing game thus far. For now, fantasy owners should target David Nelson, who actually leads the team in receptions after two games. As long as the Bills are led by the better-than-expected Ryan Fitzpatrick, these guys have more value than you'd think.

FF Today's Take: Parrish is done which opens the door for Waiver Wire darling David Nelson who had a monster game in Week 2 and should be busy going forward. Parrish's bad fortune is Nelson's good fortune.

Buffalo Bills WR Roscoe Parrish (ankle) will miss the rest of the season after suffering a left ankle injury in Week 2. Parrish missed half of last season with a broken wrist. He had just one catch for 16 yards this year. Huddle Up: David Nelson is squared away as the No. 2 now and Donald Jones secures the No. 3 spot. These aren't big names but they're showing promise and the Bills have the seventh-ranked offense after two weeks.
