The Dolphins have come out and stated that when the 2010 season starts, Chad Henne will be their starting QB. That's some serious confidence in a guy who hasn't done a whole hell of a lot yet in his career. He definitely has the potential as he's got a cannon for an arm and is a big boy standing at 6'3", 230 pounds, but we can't understand why Pennington is being dissed yet again. What does that guy have to prove to gain some respect in this league? Henne had a pretty good career while at the University of Michigan, but he's also the only Michigan QB ever to go 0-4 versus the Ohio State Buckeyes. Does that mean he folds under pressure, or that he can't win the big game? The Dolphins seem to have committed themselves to finding out those answers, but not for at least another year.

Chad Pennington will start in 2009, and unless he goes down to injury, Henne should plan on holding a clipboard for another year. Whatever happens, Henne is undraftable, even if Pennington were to go down in camp.
Henne has barely played thus far and is ready to go if necessary.
