Review by Tenny Stegman
ESPN.com’s FF rankings/projections page – Whoever is in charge of the web design/dev for ESPN does a great job. Everything they do is easy on the eyes. I also like that there are write-ups attached to each rankings – giving you the “why” behind the “what”.
FFToolbox.com’s FF rankings/projections page - They feature a nice “customizer” tool that you can use to enter your league’s scoring rules.
FFToday.com’s FF rankings/projections page – They also feature a “customizer” tool, but you must register (it’s free) in order to take advantage of it. FFToday is really good at keeping things simple and friendly on the eyes. I like that they feature three year trends for stats along w/ their ranking.
CBSSports.com’s FF rankings/projections page – They won FFLibrarian’s accuracy contest, but it’s weak that they provide no data/analysis w/ their rankings. A bigger shop like this should be able to put more effort into what is arguably the most sought after data in the pre-season. Fantasy prowess can be fleeting - if your last name is not Stegman :-)
Footballguys.com’s FF rankings/projections page – I like their tool – quick and user-friendly – and they finished 11th in the FFLibrarian’s accuracy contest in 2009.
NFL.com’s FF rankings/projections page – Good tool that slices and dices by position.
Foxsports.com’s FF rankings/projections page - Ditto w/ CBSsports – except that they didn’t win any accuracy contests – in fact, they didn’t finish in the top 15 out of 48!. Maybe I shouldn’t be featuring them here!?
